 .DISCUSSION...
 Showers and thunderstorms will spread east today as a cold front 
 arrives to the Middle Ohio valley this morning. Some thunderstorms 
 could become strong to severe, mainly across the southern coalfields 
 of West Virginia and southwest Virginia this afternoon, with brief 
 periods of torrential rainfall and strong gusty winds. 
 
 Behind the departing system, cooler and drier weather is expected 
 for the weekend. Next week could hold a couple mornings of frost 
 with cold overnight lows expected.
