 .DISCUSSION...
 A cold front will approach today, eventually crossing the area later 
 Thursday and Thursday night, with heat and high humidity continuing 
 ahead of it. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected today, 
 primarily in and near the higher terrain, with more widespread 
 showers and storms returning areawide later on Thursday into Friday. 
 A few storms could be on the strong side today and Thursday, with 
 the main threats being damaging wind and heavy downpours which could 
 lead to localized flash flooding. A refreshing change to cooler and 
 much less humid weather is expected on Friday and through the 
 weekend following the passage of the cold front.
