 .DISCUSSION...
A strong system, especially for the start of summer, impacts the
area today, bringing a threat for showers and strong, heavy
thunderstorms, with the potential for damaging wind gusts and flash
flooding, mainly this afternoon and evening. While the primary
severe weather hazard is damaging wind gusts, hail and an isolated
 tornado or two remains possible.

Drier weather then returns for Tuesday and Wednesday, ahead of
another unsettled weather pattern later in the week.
