 .DISCUSSION...
A cold front will bring scattered to numerous showers and isolated
thunderstorms to the region today. Unfortunately, these will
ultimately provide little relief from the dry period we are
currently in with between little to no rain and perhaps half an inch
in any more persistent convective cores this afternoon.

After a mainly dry and pleasant finish to the weekend on Sunday,
active weather looms for at least the start of the next work week,
with another cold front, and then possible additional disturbances.
The weather will generally trend gradually cooler during the middle
to latter portion of next week.
