Severe storms remain possible through the evening, with the primary hazard being damaging winds, although some hail and an isolated tornado are also possible. A Flood Watch also remains in effect for much of the area through Tuesday morning due to potential for flooding from excessive rainfall.  .DISCUSSION...
 A strong system, especially for the start of summer, impacts the 
 area into this evening, bringing a threat for showers and strong, 
 heavy thunderstorms, with the potential for damaging wind gusts and 
 flash flooding, mainly this afternoon and evening. While the primary 
 severe weather hazard is damaging wind gusts, hail and an isolated 
 tornado remain possible.
 
 Drier weather then returns for Tuesday and Wednesday, ahead of 
 another unsettled weather pattern later in the week.
