 .DISCUSSION...
It will be chilly tonight, but not quite as cold as last night, and
fog should be limited to the deeper, better sheltered valleys in and
near the mountains. Dry weather continues Saturday, with a milder
afternoon, as high pressure gives way to a return southwest flow.

A cold front brings a small chance for rain and snow showers early
Sunday. The colder air behind it brings a cold finish to the
weekend, and sets up a precipitation type transition zone with the
next system on Monday, with snow north, rain south, and a mix in
 between.

West of the mountains, warm air surges north Monday afternoon and
night, while a classic cold air damming wedge sets up east of the
mountains. This spells rain west of the mountains and a potential
mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain along and east of the mountains.

The rest of the week brings increasingly mild weather, but with rain
at times as various systems cross.
