 .DISCUSSION...
A disturbance today is bringing snow to the area, mainly to
locations mainly southeast of the Ohio River. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected by this evening across
southwest Virginia, southern and central West Virginia, and parts of
 northeast Kentucky.

Dry weather returns briefly on Tuesday, with the next system
crossing north of the area on Wednesday bringing rain across most of
the area, along with gusty winds.

Following this, additional disturbances will bring a mix of rain and
snow for late in the work week, and then eventually all snow by
the weekend, as temperatures gradually trend lower.
