 .DISCUSSION...
After another brief, one day break today, active weather
returns tonight, as the next cold front approaches. This front
brings rain and snow showers initially in the somewhat milder air
ahead of it early tonight, with a transition to snow showers
thereafter. Light snow accumulations are possible across the area,
with slightly heavier amounts across portions of southeast Ohio, the
northern West Virginia lowlands, and especially the northern
mountains. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for portions
of southeast Ohio, along with the northern mountains. The chance for
snow showers continues on Saturday, primarily across the higher
terrain, while isolated snow and rain showers remain possible across
 the lowlands.

Much colder air arrives behind a reinforcing cold front late
Saturday, and even more so behind an arctic front that crosses on
Monday. This sets the stage for very cold and dry weather for the
 early portion of next week.
