Winter weather returns today and is expected to prevail into Monday. During which time, several inches of snow will fall across the lowlands and significant amounts nearing a foot of snow is possible over the higher West Virginia mountains.  .DISCUSSION...
 Snow showers overspread the area this afternoon, continuing through 
 Monday, with accumulating snow expected to lead to hazardous travel 
 conditions. Breezy conditions are also expected to develop for 
 tonight and Monday, with strongest gusts occurring in the high 
 elevations of the northeast mountains.
 
 Upslope snow lingers into Monday night, with cold temperatures and 
 lingering breezes potentially producing very cold wind chills within 
 the northeast mountains late Monday night into Tuesday.
 
 Additional precipitation chances arrive with a couple mid to late 
 week systems.
