Strong Gusty Winds and Snow Showers Continue Early Tonight Across the Northern Mountains

Snow showers continue through early tonight across the northern mountains, with additional light snow accumulations of 1-2" possible across the higher elevations.  .DISCUSSION...
 Snow showers continue across the mountains into tonight, with up to 
 an additional few inches possible across the western slopes of the 
 northern mountains before drier conditions quickly move in by early 
 Monday morning. Strong wind gusts across the area will begin to 
 taper this evening, but will persist through much of the night 
 across the mountains, with building high pressure relaxing winds 
 along the higher terrain by late tonight.
 
 Temperatures moderate amid dry weather early in the new work week, 
 ahead of another cold front arriving midweek that could bring rain, 
 then snow showers.
