 .DISCUSSION...
Heat warnings and advisories continue through tomorrow for much of
the lowlands. Even as the daytime heat may ease off a bit, the warm
and muggy overnights allow for minimal relief.

The chance for mainly afternoon and early evening showers and
thunderstorms continues through the weekend, and may even increase
as a cold front approaches early next week.

The front may be followed by a break in the heat, with drier,
slightly cooler weather, and lower humidity, come the middle of next
 week.
