 .DISCUSSION...
After a cold afternoon, another round of light snow is possible
tonight across southeast Ohio and northern West Virgina, with up to
half an inch or so possible. This combined with lows in the tens to
around 20 could lead to slick conditions for the Monday morning
commute in some areas. Even colder air arrives behind an arctic
front that crosses on Monday, with snow showers once again possible
across the north, while gusty winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour are
expected area wide. Dry, but much colder air moves in Monday night.
Lows will be in the single digits, while wind chills will be even
colder, with Cold Weather Advisories in effect for the higher
terrain. Well below normal temperatures continue on Tuesday amid dry
conditions, with temperatures moderating significantly on Wednesday
ahead of the next system that crosses Wednesday night into Thursday.
