 .DISCUSSION...
 Dry weather will continue through this weekend and into late next 
 week, with gradually warmer daytime temperatures. Northeasterly 
 winds will remain light this afternoon following the passage of 
 another decaying cold front, with winds veering eastward late 
 tonight and becoming calm. The persistent high pressure aloft will 
 maintain a strong temperature inversion (or a cap) that will shunt 
 mixing heights to 1.0-1.5-km AGL across the lowlands and higher 
 elevations. The net result will be RH minima bottoming out in the 
 lower 30-percent range each afternoon through early next week, and 
 will otherwise vary depending on locale and related elevation amidst 
 excellent overnight recovery. Calm winds are also forecast Saturday 
 and beyond, with a southeasterly direction Saturday afternoon.
