 National Weather Service Charleston WV

 .DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system north of the region will continue to impact
the area with showers and possible thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening, particularly across the middle Ohio Valley, where a slow
moving line of showers and thunderstorms could potentially lead to
flooding or even flash flooding. A Flood Watch remains in effect for
the middle Ohio Valley. Areas impacted by heavy rain over the last
several days are most vulnerable to flooding from additional heavy
 rain.

Additional rounds of showers are likely each day of the remainder of
the Memorial Day holiday weekend, with mainly afternoon and evening
thunderstorms also possible. Temperatures will climb out of th 60s
to top out near normal this afternoon, and then a few degrees above
normal beginning Sunday. Unsettled weather looks to continue for the
start of the new work week as well, but may finally start to settle
down later in the week, as high pressure builds surface and aloft to
the northeast of the Ohio Valley.
