 .DISCUSSION...
Isolated showers and storms remain possible overnight, with some
valley fog expected to develop. An approaching cold front will
promote increased shower and storm chances on Tuesday, with some
storms being of the strong to severe variety. The main hazards are
damaging wind gusts, along with the potential for isolated instances
of flash flooding. The front crosses Tuesday night and is followed
by an extended period of dry weather, along with a brief break from
the heat and humidity. Hot weather returns for Friday and the
 weekend.
