 National Weather Service Charleston WV

 .DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will top put well above normal today, solidly in the
mid 80s for much of the lowlands, on a warm and dry afternoon out
ahead of a cold front approaching from the west.

That cold front could bring thunderstorms to the middle Ohio Valley
tonight, and will bring showers across the area overnight tonight
and Saturday. Thunderstorms may also fire up on Saturday, but with
clouds and showers already in play in the morning, the storms will
 not be especially strong.

After a mainly dry and pleasant finish to the weekend on Sunday,
active weather looms for at least the start of the next work week,
with another cold front, and then possible additional disturbances.
