 .DISCUSSION...
Another winter weather advisory has been issued for tonight for the
northern mountains, as a shortwave is anticipated to cross the area.
This will create a light wintry mix of precipitation including snow
and freezing rain, and will lead to continued slick travel in these
 areas.

Outside of the northern mountains, drier weather is anticipated
tonight, although a few light snow showers cannot be ruled out
across northern and central parts of the state of West Virginia. Low
temperatures across the area tonight will generally range from the
 teens to the 20s.

A system will then pass by to our south Friday night into Saturday.
This looks to spread precipitation back into southern and eastern
areas. Most of this precipitation should be in the form of rain, but
a brief period of freezing rain cannot be ruled out.

The remainder of the weekend into early next week is trending drier
 and warmer.
