Temperatures will stay on the hot side for the upcoming weekend with highs 5-10°F above normal across Utah and southwest Wyoming. Northern Utah will stay sunny, but we'll see a few showers develop over southern Utah Saturday and Sunday afternoons, primarily over the higher terrain.
The KICX (Cedar City) radar will be down for scheduled maintenance between June 8th and June 20th. During this time, technicians will be replacing panels in the radome that have been damaged by lightning. Surrounding radars will continue to provide data during what is normally the driest time of the year.
