There is a medium to high chance that a Saturday cold front will bring the coldest temperatures so far this season to a good chunk of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas late Saturday night and Sunday morning, with many areas likely to see their first fall freeze. If you have sensitive outdoor vegetation that may be harmed by frost and freeze conditions, continue to monitor forecasts and take action to protect them before any freezing temperatures occur.
A Freeze Watch is in effect from 3 am to 9 am Sunday for most of eastern Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.
Saturday's cold front brings low chances for light rain to eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas beginning in the pre-dawn hours and moving out through the afternoon. Rainfall amounts should be light, with up to a tenth of an inch at most in a few spots.
