A thunderstorm complex is expected to develop over southwest Kansas and northwest Oklahoma Friday evening and spread into eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas Late Friday night. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with strong gusty winds the main concern.
The threat for severe weather will continue into Saturday as thunderstorms are expected to redevelop Saturday Afternoon and evening in the vicinity of any left over outflow boundaries and a surface front moving across the area. Any of these storms could become severe with strong gusty winds, large hail and tornadoes all possible.
