Dangerous heat and humidity will develop Tuesday across much of northeast OK and in the Arkansas RIver Valley of west central AR Tuesday afternoon, with heat indices around 105 degrees common.
Hot conditions are expected this week. Afternoon heat indices of 100 to 110 F are expected each day through at least Thursday.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected this morning for portions of northeast OK and northwest AR, with both heavy rain/flooding and severe weather concerns. Conditions will dry out and become hot Monday through mid week.
