Shower and thunderstorm coverage should be highest during the morning hours of your 4th, especially across portions of southeast Oklahoma. Expect a decrease in the potential for thunderstorms by the afternoon, with a high likelihood of dry weather for any evening festivities. Seek shelter indoors if you see lightning or hear thunder, and in the event of locally heavy rain, avoid any resulting flood waters. Have a safe 4th!
Independence Day will start off with potential for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, but that potential decreases through the afternoon. Below normal afternoon temperatures are expected as well. Have a safe 4th!
