A Flood Watch is in effect Sunday and Sunday evening for much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The flash flood threat will be highest in areas that saw heavy rains on Saturday. Localized totals in the 3 to 4 inch range can be expected.
Widespread showers and storms continue into Sunday. A few storms may become severe Sunday, with an isolated tornado possible.
Hot conditions are expected this week. Afternoon heat indices of 100 to 110 F are expected each day Monday through Thursday.
