Widespread additional rainfall amounts between 1-3" are probable across eastern OK and northwest Arkansas through Monday evening. Flooding and flash flooding are possible.
Additional heavy rainfall remains probable this weekend. A Flood Watch is now in effect through Monday for all of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. If you encounter flooded roadways, turn around, don't drown!
Thunderstorms are in the forecast through tonight. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, along with heavy rainfall.
The afternoon and evening hours will be most favored for severe weather today, although there is some uncertainty as to how long the severe weather concern will last, especially near the Red River.
Thunderstorms remain possible Monday as a frontal boundary continues to sag slowly south. A few storms may produce large hail and damaging winds Monday afternoon and evening, but heavy rainfall will be the biggest threat.
