A weak upper level disturbance moves across the area today as a cold front approaches from the north. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm chances exist through tonight as the front begins to move through. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain low.
A large scale pattern change develops next week, which will bring more moisture into the region. This will likely lead to higher rain and thunderstorm chances Sunday, continuing through the week, with potential for wetting rainfall areawide.
