Additional widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches of rain are forecast today through Sunday night, with local amounts of 3+ inches. Flooding concerns may increase.
A strong to marginally severe cluster of thunderstorms are expected to develop and form into a line late this morning and push eastward into E OK early this afternoon. These storms should weaken some as they push int far SE OK and NW AR. Primary hazard with the line of storms will be damaging wind gusts. Small hail will be possible as well.
Scattered thunderstorms will become possible across the region Saturday afternoon and evening. High amounts of instability could lead to a few strong to severe storms with mainly damaging wind gusts as the primary threat.
