Showers and thunderstorms are expected across much of northern Arizona today, with greatest potential across areas of higher terrain. Rainfall amounts will generally be .10" or less, but localized spots may see up to 0.25". Winds will generally be out of the west-southwest, but erratic outflow winds will be possible throughout the afternoon.
Cooler temperatures are expected today with scattered showers/thunderstorms. We'll see a quick warm up through the beginning of the weekend, with a building ridge over the Southwest. Unsettled weather looks to return next week, bringing slightly cooler afternoon highs.
