Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
317 AM EDT Sun Aug 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will build overhead Today and bring dry conditions
through the early part of the upcoming week. While an isolated
shower or storm may be possible mainly in the mountains, the best
chance for convection will arrive on Wednesday as a cold front
moves east across the area. High pressure should return later in
the week with cooler and drier weather.

Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the
period.
