.DISCUSSION...

...Dry weather expected to continue through the weekend...

High pressure will remain over the region into the weekend with
no rain expected until a strong cold front arrives early next week.
Minimum relative humidity values during the afternoon today and
Thursday will fall into the 25 to 35 percent range across the
forecast area. A few spots may see minimum relative humidity values
fall into the 20 to 25 percent range this afternoon and again
Thursday afternoon. Transport winds will be light and mostly southeast
today, then become southwest to west and increase slightly for Thursday.
Consequently, smoke dispersion will be poor.
