Due to increased moisture from remnants of Dolly, rain chances will be elevated through Thursday night, winds will remain light and east to southeasterly / variable at times.

The monthly rainfall at the Florida Keys Marathon International Airport for August 2026 totaled just 0.51 inches (4.81 inches below normal). This ranks as the driest August on record for the Marathon area (dating back to 1950). The previous driest August was in 1990, when 1.40 inches of rainfall was recorded. Summer 2026's (June-July-August) total rainfall of 5.02 inches also ranks as the third driest on record for the Marathon area. The driest summer on record is 1956 with 4.20 inches of rainfall.
