Another round of rain and thunderstorms is expected to move across the Panhandles starting late Thursday lasting through Friday. Flooding concerns will be present with these areas of rain so make sure to be prepared.

A marginal risk of excessive rainfall remains in place across the majority of the southeastern Panhandles today. Showers with embedded thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy rainfall, especially across the southeast. Prolonged activity, especially after all the rainfall we have seen, can easily lead to flooding. Make sure to be prepared.

More active weather is expected this week with current trends seeing two different systems pushing across the Panhandles. The first of these systems is looking to push in late Thursday with some of our heaviest and most widespread showers expected Friday. This will be followed by a potential second system Sunday into next Monday morning. While the threat for severe weather has been low, flooding concerns are still present.
