Thunderstorms and Heavy Rains Across Portions of the Central and Eastern US; Heat Expands to Portions of the East

Widespread showers and thunderstorms, some severe, may produce heavy downpours and flash flooding across much of the eastern and central U.S. Dangerous heat will continue in the Pacific Northwest and expand across portions of the East. air due to a communications failure. Technicians have been
notified, but there is currently no estimated restore time.

The Richland Center NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts on Channel 4, or a
frequency of 162.475 MHz, and serves the following counties in
Wisconsin: Richland and Vernon.

Neighboring transmitters that serve some of these areas include:

La Crosse, broadcasting on Channel 7 or 162.550 MHz;
Tomah, broadcasting on Channel 6 or 162.525 MHz;
Baraboo, broadcasting on Channel 3 or 162.450 MHz
