Tropical Storm Bertha in the Gulf; Severe Weather in the East on Tuesday

Tropical Storm Bertha could bring tropical storm conditions to portions of the Florida Panhandle and Alabama coast through Wednesday, where a Tropical Storm Watch and Storm Surge Watch is in effect. Overview

A Winter Storm that tracked just south of the area still managed to drop a band of heavy snow into parts of northeast Iowa and southern Wisconsin during the overnight hours of January 25-26th, 2021. While impacts were higher to the south, a heavy snow band of 4-8" fell near the Iowa-Wisconsin border between Prairie du Chien, WI and Dubuque, IA.

There was a tight gradient in the snowfall, with very little accumulation closer to Interstate 90.
