Severe storms have produced heavy rain mainly south of Interstate 90, or across northeast Iowa into southwest Wisconsin tonight.  While the threat for damaging wind and hail has lowered, we could still see additional flash flooding and pockets of heavy rain into the overnight hours.

Tonight : Flash Flooding / Heavy Rain Ongoing

  • What:  Recent heavy rain (2-4") plus additional storms moving through; heavy rainfall with localized flooding
  • Where: generally along and south of Interstate 90
  • Timing: through Midnight
  • Impacts:  Localized flooding possible, with rises on area creeks and streams
  • ACTION: If flooding is observed, move to higher ground. Do not cross flood waters.
