Extreme Fire Weather Concerns for the Western U.S.; Severe Weather and Flooding Threats for the Central U.S.

Extremely critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop across the Great Basin and Southwest today, and exceptionally dry and windy conditions will promote rapid wildfire spread through the weekend. ...THE MINOT WEATHER RADAR IS DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE UNTIL LATE
SATURDAY AFTERNOON, JUNE 13th...

The Minot Doppler radar, KMBX will be down for planned maintenance
until late Saturday afternoon, June 13th. The maintenance being
done includes installation of new hardware, and removal of
obsolete hardware that will allow for a new design to improve
radar data quality.

While the Minot radar is out of service the following surrounding
radars can be used: KBIS at Bismarck, KMVX at Mayville, and KGGW
at Glasgow, Montana.
