NWS Boulder will experience a planned power outage beginning early morning Tuesday April 19 and lasting through the day. During this time the following services from NWS Boulder will be unavailable:

NOAA Weather Radio-All Hazards in North Central and Northeast Colorado
KFTG WSR-88D (Denver) - Radar coverage from overlapping nearby radars in Cheyenne WY, Pueblo CO and Goodland KS remain in service
NWS Boulder telephones

Forecasts and warnings will continue uninterrupted, and will be provided by NWS Pueblo, who can be reached at (719) 948-9429.

The power outage is to provide necessary maintenance and repairs to electrical service. NWS Boulder is anticipated to resume operations Tuesday afternoon.
