VERY COLD WIND CHILLS EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY IN MUCH OF THE NORTH COUNTRY

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for much of northern New York and a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for portions of Vermont and northern New York from 10 PM tonight through 1 PM Saturday. Lowest wind chill values are expected between 30 and 45 below zero in the Warning area and 20 to 30 below zero in the Advisory area. Frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as few as 10 to 30 minutes.
