Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Concerns in the Southwest; Coastal Low to Impact the East Coast

Deep tropical moisture will lead to widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing flash flooding through early next week over the Southwest and Four Corners. Overview

The season's first decent snowfall event occurred across parts of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois during the afternoon and evening of December 11.  Carroll, Stephenson, and Jo Daviess Counties in northwest Illinois received the highest amounts of 2; to as much as 5 inches!
