Today's temperatures will be within 3 degrees of late June averages with highs in the upper 80s and 90s. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible from the Coastal Plains to the I-35 corridor into the far eastern Hill Country. Southeasterly winds of 5 to 15 mph will prevail with gusts up to 35 mph possible.
A slight warming trend, most noticeable in high temperatures, is expected through the middle of next week. There are low chances of showers and thunderstorms each day, with the best chances east of the I-35 corridor.
