Storm chances will return to North and Central Texas on Saturday. Although a few storms will be possible in the afternoon, the main threat for strong to severe storms will be in the evening and overnight hours. Keep up with the forecast, especially if you have any outdoor plans!
As we finish up the work week, expect continued warm conditions throughout North and Central Texas. Lows drop into the 60s tonight with partly cloudy skies, before another day with highs in the mid and upper 80s. Wind gusts tomorrow will range from 15 to 25 mph out of the south.
Friday evening will be quiet with temperatures in the upper 80s cooling into the 70s through the evening underneath mostly clear skies. It will still be a bit breezy, with south winds sustained around 5 to 10 mph and occasional gusts to 20 mph.
Cooler temperatures are expected on Sunday, however, Monday will feature a temporary warm up and breezy conditions. This will result in an elevated fire threat for areas west of I-35 where there is lower humidity. Another front arrives early Tuesday, leading to another cool down for the middle of the week.
