Last Map Update: Sat, Mar 7, 2026 at 5:50:20 pm CST

Showers and storms will continue through the evening hours behind a cold front. Severe storms are no longer expected but a few strong storms could produce small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain causing minor flooding in localized areas. Most of the rain will exit the region this evening but a few showers or storms may occur in Central Texas overnight tonight.
Standard time (CST) ends tonight at 2 am March 8th. Make sure you set your clocks forward one hour tonight.
The next potential for severe storms will be with an upper level storm system moving through the Southern Plains on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Confidence is higher than the past few days due to better large scale lift with the passing upper level system. Multiple modes of severe storms and all threats for severe storm hazards are being analyzed for Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night. Keep up with the forecast for Tuesday as the details are further refined!
The Bosque County Severe Weather Education course is being held on Tuesday, March 10th, from 6 to 8 PM. The course will be held at the Cliftex Theatre in Clifton and is free and open to the public. No registration is needed! We hope to see you there!
