Storm chances return late tonight as a complex moves in from the north. With the morning complex, damaging winds and small hail will be the main threat. There is better chances for severe weather during the afternoon in Central Texas, where large hail and damaging winds will be the main threat, with an accompanying low tornado threat.
Showers and storms may continue overnight Sunday night into Monday morning. These storms would be capable of localized heavy rainfall and flooding, especially near and east of I-35.
A few rounds of strong or severe storms are expected from late Tuesday through Thursday. The highest chances are in western North Texas near a dryline and stalled front. Hail, damaging winds, and flooding will be the main hazards with all storms through the midweek period.
Daily storm chances are forecast for the upcoming week associated with a incoming front and dryline. Some storms may be severe, with the highest chances on Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will be near or slightly below normal, mostly in the 80s and lower 90s.
