Last Map Update: Thu, Jul 3, 2025 at 7:28:35 pm CDT

Scattered showers are expected from now to this evening. Highest concentration of shower activity will be along/west of I-35 and across Central Texas. Gusty winds and localized heavy rainfall are possible in any stronger storms. Temperatures will be cooler than usual, in the 80s.
Morning showers and storms will gradually decrease through the day Friday, with most precipitation likely gone around sunset. Coverage will spotty in the afternoon and evening. While no severe weather is expected, anticipate impacts from lightning, brief downpours, and gusty winds should a storm move into your area.
Seasonable temperatures over the weekend will climb to above-normal values by the middle of next week as high pressure strengthens overhead. There will be low 10-20% chances for showers and storms over the weekend, primarily along and west of the I-35 corridor. The extended outlook indicates a return to near-normal to above-normal temperatures and above-normal rainfall.
