A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for all the Florida Keys waters, except the SE Gulft. Winds 20 to 25 knots, decreasing to near 20 knots. Seas : 5-8 ft in the Straits of Florida. Wind and wave conditions will be hazardous for small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR HAWK CHANNEL AND THE FLORIDA STRAITS. Small Craft Should Exercise Caution headlines are in place for all other marine zones. Fresh to strong east breezes will prevail today with the strongest breezes across the eastern zones. Bay and gulfside seas 2 to 3 feet, except 3 to 4 feet, occasionally 5 feet west of the Marquesas Keys, Hawk Channel seas 3 to 4 feet, occasionally 5 feet, Florida Straits seas 4 to 5 feet, occasionally 6 feet, and Southeast Gulf seas 3 to 5 feet, occasionally 6 feet. Bay and nearshore waters choppy to rough. A chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms.
