The following graphics shows the Top 10 warmest, coldest, wettest, driest, snowiest and least snowy periods, ranked for each month at several observing sites across the South Plains, Rolling Plains and southern Texas Panhandle. Also displayed are the Top 10 annual extremes and the top 30 precipitation (rain and snow) dates.
Many of these sites are maintained by cooperative observers, a program which you can learn more about here. Note that some observers do not report daily, so data may be missing at times. To view the observations, hover over a location on the left and choose the desired tab along the top of the page.
