10/10 @ 4:30AM: Breezy southerly winds will keep plenty of tropical moisture in place across South Florida today, resulting in above average "summer-like" conditions. Outside of any shower or storm, coastal and marine hazards remain the main forecast concern.
Hazardous beach and marine conditions continue through this afternoon, with small craft advisory conditions for the Gulf waters and a high risk of rip currents for the Palm Beach and Collier beaches. Minor coastal flooding is also possible during high tide at all coastal locations through Sunday morning.
Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Make sure to always swim near lifeguards and heed the advice of local beach patrol flags and signs. If in doubt, don't go out!
