To all our valued website customers,

On Saturday (9/7/2019) the database at our Western Region Headquarters suffered a failure. This affected all NWS Western Region office's ability to display current observations that are normally displayed with the weather forecast information.

Our national website support team is working to restore the display of the current observations. We do not have an estimated date of restoration at this time. In the meantime, the observations are still available by clicking on the link to "3 Day History" that is located to the right of where the current observations normally are displayed on the 7-Day Forecast page for any point you choose.

Observations are also available through a map view that is available at:

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Our regional and national staff are working hard to resolve this outage as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience.
