Above Average Temperatures for the West and Central Plains; Lake Effect Snow Continues

Well above average temperatures will prevail across the Plains and the West Coast this week, while a cold front will bring Arctic air to the South and East Coast Thursday and Friday. Was June wet or dry?  It depends on where you were located.  While many locations experienced near or above normal precipitation, parts of northeast Nebraska were still quite dry.  Here is June's preliminary monthly precipitation map.  *Note-This map is based on available data and may be incomplete.

June 2015 - Lincoln - 7.66" (14th wettest - normal - 4.35")
