Hydrology/River Stages...

Many rivers and lakes began the month in flood or rose slightly
above flood stage due to heavy rainfall during the end of March.
Heavy rainfall combined with many reservoirs at their projected pool
height for spring and summer levels discharged additional water
producing minor flooding along the Congaree River south of Columbia.
