A broad area of low pressure could form by early this upcoming week over the northwestern Caribbean. Thereafter, gradual development is possible. At this time, there is a medium (40 percent) chance of development over the next 7 days. Other areas of disturbed weather in the north-central Atlantic are not a threat to the US.
