A slight risk (level 2 out of 5) for severe weather is in place for Thursday evening and overnight for areas mainly north of I-10/12. Make sure you stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings.
Summer-like weather is expected by midweek with highs in the low to mid 90s for many places Wednesday and Thursday. Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms are possible mainly across northern areas Monday, and then again late Thursday into Thursday night as a weak cold front drops into the local area. The front should result in a slight cool down for the weekend.
