APX AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions will persist, with temperatures reaching
well into the 80s to low 90s across the region, especially
northeast Lower. Elevated dewpoints (upper 60s to low 70s) will
prevent RH values from falling below critical thresholds, and
southwest winds will stay light, with gusts below 15 mph. An
onshore wind shift is expected near Lake Huron. Mixing heights
look to increase generally to 5.0 to 6.5 kft from the late morning
through the afternoon hours away from the immediate coasts.
Shower and thunderstorm chances return tonight into Monday,
followed by a shift to cooler, drier conditions midweek.
