.DISCUSSION...Scattered to numerous storms are expected across northern Michigan 
later this evening and tonight -- most likely between 8 PM and 2 AM. 
Mainly rain-free weather is anticipated Friday, although scattered 
showers/storms will be possible later Friday afternoon/evening near 
the Straits. A cold front will swing through the area tonight with 
west winds setting in behind the passage. Sustained 20 ft wind 
speeds around 8-15 mph with gusts to 20-30 mph are possible through 
the afternoon. Minimum RHs between 30-40 percent are possible Friday 
afternoon east of I-75, including the Huron National Forest.

A cold front will move away to the east this morning taking deeper
moisture with it. Skies will be mostly clear today and tonight. It
will be cooler as well with highs today in the 70s and lows tonight
mainly in the 50s. The next chance of rain (showers and thunderstorms
will come Saturday evening into Sunday morning as a reinforcing cold
front sweeps southeast through the area.
