the region tonight into Friday, with winds increasing
considerably. SW winds anticipated to be sustained 10 to 15mph,
with some 20ft gusts easily exceeding 30mph at times. Looking
ahead, sharply colder air builds... with most of the area's first
snowflakes anticipated to fly over the course of the weekend...
with potential for accumulating lake effect snowfall into next
week, primarily for spots west of US 131 and along Lake Huron
south of Alpena.
