.DISCUSSION...
MIZ001-003-221200-

Despite high pressure today, lingering surface moisture will keep
minimum RHs at or above 50 percent today. Expect light south to
southwest winds around 5 mph, though lake breeze circulations may
make wind direction variable in the afternoon. An approaching system
will lead to chances of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day
Friday with chances of thunderstorms 40 to 50 percent. Expect
precipitation totals to be around a third of an inch, though could
be locally higher with heavier downpours. Expect southwest winds
around 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph (except the Keweenaw, which
could see gusts up to 25 mph). The moist conditions will keep
minimum RHs in the 60s percent range and above Friday.
