.DISCUSSION...
MIZ001-003-161200-
Cooler temps prevail today in the 80s to possibly near 90 across the
far southern UP, however, thick wildfire smoke may throw a wrench in
the temperature forecast and keep daytime highs 5-10 degrees cooler
than expected. No fire weather concerns as winds remain light (<15
kts) and northerly. Dewpoints slacken into the 50s this afternoon,
growing confidence in lower RH potential, but as previously
mentioned the temperature forecast remains uncertain. If warmer
temps prevail, min RHs may dip into the upper 20s to 30s for much of
the interior. Should the cooler temperature forecast under thick
smoke win out, higher RHs only falling into the 40s to 50s should be
expected.
