.DISCUSSION...Stretch of rain-free weather set to continue...likely
right on through this weekend. Temperatures will cool just a bit
today and Wednesday, forced to do so by the development of somewhat
gusty east to southeast winds (at times exceeding critical levels in
gusts). Expect favored downslope areas of northwest lower Michigan
to see relative humidity values near or exceed critical levels this
afternoon, with humidity increasing the further east one goes.
Humidity looks to stay just a touch more elevated Wednesday, but
still likely to drop below 40 percent across at least parts of the
area. Likely to see sub 40 percent rh values during the afternoon
hours of Thursday and Friday as well.

Rain is not expected until perhaps early next week. Temperatures
will be quite a bit warmer than normal, often around 80, with
afternoon RH dropping in many places to around 35 percent, some
reaching as low as 25 percent. Wednesday will be a brief change
with somewhat cooler temperatures and cloudier skies, but with
more of a breeze.

averages will continue through the week. Upper level ridging will
