.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions will persist, with temperatures reaching
well into the 80s to low 90s across the region, especially 
northeast Lower. Elevated dewpoints (upper 60s to low 70s) will 
prevent RH values from falling below critical thresholds, and 
southwest winds will stay light, with gusts below 15 mph. An 
onshore wind shift is expected near Lake Huron. Mixing heights 
look to increase generally to 5.0 to 6.5 kft from the late morning
through the afternoon hours away from the immediate coasts. 
Shower and thunderstorm chances return tonight into Monday, 
followed by a shift to cooler, drier conditions midweek.

We will be warm and humid today through Tuesday with high
temperatures pushing to around 90. Dew points will hold around 70 to
the lower 70s. Winds will be light with a slack pressure gradient in
place. We look to be dry today and Monday with chances for showers 
and thunderstorms both Tuesday and Wednesday. At this time confidence
in the Tuesday/Wednesday precipitation is low with 20-30 percent 
chances in the forecast for both days.
