.DISCUSSION...Under a weak high pressure, expect dry weather until
MIZ001-003-161200-
this evening and tonight, when chances of rain spread across the
western half of the UP. Up to a tenth of an inch of rain is
expected, but could vary significantly depending on the exact
placement of isolated showers. Temperatures remaining slightly below
normal will help keep RHs from falling much below the mid 50s
percent except in the far east, where RHs could fall to around 40
percent. Light and variable winds will shift to be out of the
southeast this afternoon at 5 to 10 mph, though winds could remain
variable in the vicinity of the Great Lakes lake breezes.

Monday, a few isolated showers in the morning and early afternoon
could (20 percent) have thunder by the mid-afternoon hours ahead of
a strong system of thunderstorms arriving in the evening to
overnight hours. By sunset Monday, one to three tenths of an inch of
rain is forecast. South to southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph gusting to
15 mph are expected with RHs only falling to the 70s and 60s percent
ranges.
