Overview

A winter storm brought heavy snow to parts of the area on Sunday, February 9th, which created hazardous to dangerous travel conditions. The snow moved in from the west by Midnight and continued eastward through the afternoon producing snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour, with at least a few inches of accumulation for most of the area. The highest snowfall amounts were generally located along the Interstate 90 corridor, where amounts were in the 8-11" range.
