Overview

Severe thunderstorms moved through parts of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and western Wisconsin Saturday afternoon and evening, June 30th.  Two lines of storms produced most of the severe weather, with damaging wind, heavy rain, and some hail.

The strongest winds produced quite a bit of damage in parts of Mower, Olmsted, and Fillmore Counties in southeast Minnesota, including damaging crops, snapped trees, and a wind gust of 69 mph at the Rochester International Airport.
