The chance for precipitation increases toward the end of this weekend and into next week as monsoon moisture arrives from the south. Showers and thunderstorms will initially be isolated and on the drier side over the weekend. Threats include strong outflow winds, blowing dust, and fire weather concerns. As the atmosphere moistens next week, showers and thunderstorms will become capable of heavy rainfall and may impact existing burn scars.
