On July 31st at 3 PM, the NWS in Burlington will conduct a review of the July 8th severe weather event across Vermont.
We will perform a pre-storm environment analysis, look back at some mesoanalysis data to see how the environment evolved throughout the day and finish off by looking at two long track storms that produced widespread wind damage and a few reports of large hail. If you've taken out online SKYWARN severe training, this will be a great supplement with real world examples.
Registration is free and open to all. Please register for NWS Burlington Virtual Skywarn® Course at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8941182786054636559+
If you haven't taken the online severe training, please visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HnxKpU3Jdc&t=1035s to view a recorded version of the training.
Hope to see you there!
