GOES Outage Limiting Satellite Data and Providing Erroneous River Gauge Data

GOES East (GOES-19) is experiencing an outage and is not transmitting data. At this time, there is no estimated time for return to service. In addition to not transmitting data, several river gauges, which rely on the GOES uplink to provide observations, are showing erroneous data with rivers in flood stage.
